Regional MSP for South Scotland, Michelle Ballantyne has been doing the rounds last week, meeting constituents across the Scottish Borders.
Mrs. Ballantyne visited 17 locations in the Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale constituency, including Oxton, Stow, Heriot, and Gattonside. She spoke about the importance of visiting the more rural areas in south Scotland and encouraged anyone with queries or concerns in her area to get in contact.
Michelle Ballantyne MSP commented:
“One of my favourite things about recess is being able to get out of Parliament for a few weeks and spend more time engaging with constituents.
“I feel the best way to represent people in the Borders is to get out and be accessible, listening to their concerns and addressing local issues.
“A big thank you to everyone who came to see me, I had many useful conversations which will help me better serve the Borders at Holyrood and it was great to meet faces both old and new.
“I would like to highlight that even outside of surgeries, constituents are very welcome to get in touch. If you have any questions are issues you’d like to raise with me, please contact me at email@example.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!”
